The Tramway is subject to delays and periodic shutdowns due to unforeseen circumstances and is not responsible for ticket refunds or the inability to redeem a voucher
Tramway cars hold 80 people each and there are no seats. Passengers remain standing throughout the journey up the mountain
Distance is approximately 12,800 feet, with a vertical ascent of 5,873 feet - 15 minutes travel time one way
The tramway is known as a double reversible type of aerial tramway. Each car remains on one pair of track cables moving up and down without turning around. Each car serves as a counter balance to the other, the descending car is helping pull the ascending car up the mountain
Strollers are permitted on this tour
During holiday periods, you may experience long lines. We recommend you travel outside of these peak times to fully enjoy everything the tramway and mountain have to offer.
There is parking in 13 paved lots near Valley Station. There is free shuttle service from parking lots to Valley Station entrance available weekends and holiday periods
Hand sanitiser available to travellers and staff
Regularly sanitised high-traffic areas
Gear/equipment sanitised between use
Transportation vehicles regularly sanitised
Face masks are optional in the building and onboard tram cars.

This is an experience that I recommend everyone does while they are in the area. Beautiful views, amazing customer service, and an overall great experience. The floor in the tram rotates so you get an opportunity to see every possible view of the mountain and the city from down below. Cannot wait to come back in the winter time for another beautiful experience!

We are locals and have annual passes ...which pays for itself. There is nothing better than traveling on this majestic ride and being transported instantly to a place that’s 40 degrees cooler than hotter PS. The trails are great and so is the restaurant which actually has great food despite being only game in town. My advice is to buy tickets in advance as they are timed. Everyone shows up and then gets tickets at box office but then yr ticket is “timed” and you might not be able to board for another hour. with the pass you can board anytime and if you pre-buy ticket it has set time so u just show up a little bit before time of boarding (eg 10 mins ) Worth it !!

So we decided to go and drop in to these guys on our way to Las Vegas and I am Glade we did it didn't just break up the trip but also gave us an amazing site of the area you can see everything from the top and the staff are lovely we also ate at the cafe whick was ok in both price and what you got for your money would highly recommend dropping in the view alone was worth it.
