It was a great experience and must do if you're visiting the area. The views up the mountain are gorgeous.

The site from the tram was beautiful and also coming down but the best part is up in the park along the trails. If you go in the winter time make sure we took scarves and they came in very handy. Food is pricey but so is anything in Palm Springs & on trips. The walk back up was hard glad I took a drink. Definitely take a drink & gloves.

The tram ride is awesome and I highly recommend it. I took some anti-motion sickness pills but honestly I don’t think I actually needed them. Order your tickets online for a specific departure time and buy your parking pass. Will save you time. I recommend you arrive at least a half hour before your “ride” time. The base area has clean bathrooms, a snack shop, gift shop, and some small exhibits. The guides are knowledgeable and friendly. Once at the top, the views are majestic. Various hiking opportunities are available, including two “easy” loop trails., as well as more rigorous hiking. The mountain top restaurants looked very nice, but we went to the bar lounge. Drinks were reasonably priced and the sunset views were breathtaking. We took a 2 pm tram ride and then spent 3 hours at the top hiking, viewing, exploring, photographing, relaxing. Plentiful restrooms at the top. The temps at the top were 28-30 degrees, compared to 60+ below. Wear layers, bring a backpack with an extra layer and snacks.
