Overview

Visit USS Arizona and Battleship Missouri, as they represent both the beginning and the end of World War II. The accompanying “Road to War” and “Attack” exhibit galleries that display pictures and recovered items from the events which transpired at Pearl Harbor and WWII. Then, watch a short film explaining the fateful day and its significance. Followed by a boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial, the final resting place of the ship's 1,177 crewmen.

USS Missouri has served proudly through WWII, the Korean War, and the Gulf War for a 51-year long career. Launched from the Naval Shipyard in Brooklyn in 1944.

Pearl Harbor the home of the USS Arizona Memorial, learn about one of the most pivotal moments in US history of WWII.

Battleship Missouri Memorial

Visit the battleship USS Missouri—lovingly known as the "Mighty Mo". After fighting in the last year of the war with Japan, Mighty Mo served as the location where Japan would sign the official surrender documents. In addition to the historically significant, Mighty Mo offers a look at what life at sea was like aboard a battleship.

National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific

Punchbowl Crater is an extinct volcanic tuff cone located in Honolulu, It serves as a memorial to honor those men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces, and those who have given their lives in doing so.

We expected a “tour” with a guide and realized this was just a bus service to the memorials with tickets. We were on our own at each site. Our “guide” was nice enough and tried to provide “commentary” while she was driving; however, the sound system was so bad we couldn’t understand what she was saying. As it turns out, I think this was an expensive bus service and not really a tour.

This was a great experience! From the pickup to the drop off, Our driver, Ro Ro, was awesome! She gave us a lot of useful information on our trip from the pickup point to the Pearl Harbor USS Arizona Memorial and also to the battleship USS Missouri. She personally walked our group in through security. The USS Arizona Memorial is a moving experience. There are many things to see and do. The USS Missouri was very neat. We did a free tour which was very helpful in learning as much as we could. We also had plenty of time to tour the outside and inside!
