Overview

Visit USS Arizona and Battleship Missouri, as they represent both the beginning and the end of World War II. The accompanying “Road to War” and “Attack” exhibit galleries that display pictures and recovered items from the events which transpired at Pearl Harbor and WWII. Then, watch a short film explaining the fateful day and its significance. Followed by a boat ride to the USS Arizona Memorial, the final resting place of the ship's 1,177 crewmen.

USS Missouri has served proudly through WWII, the Korean War, and the Gulf War for a 51-year long career. Launched from the Naval Shipyard in Brooklyn in 1944.

Battleship Missouri Memorial

Visit the battleship USS Missouri—lovingly known as the "Mighty Mo". After fighting in the last year of the war with Japan, Mighty Mo served as the location where Japan would sign the official surrender documents. In addition to the historically significant, Mighty Mo offers a look at what life at sea was like aboard a battleship.

National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific

Punchbowl Crater is an extinct volcanic tuff cone located in Honolulu, It serves as a memorial to honor those men and women who served in the United States Armed Forces, and those who have given their lives in doing so.

The history was awesome. The Missouri was very interesting. I enjoyed the tour guide and the history. The trip to the Arizona was moving but somewhat underwhelming. It was a very short visit and not much of the ship can be seen. My biggest complaint is location of pick-up. The office told us one area and the van were on another. The hotel was located on a corner, and one could not see both sides. We did finally find the van and make our trip,
