This is not a on hop off tour. The bus driver was not in the least bit pleasant during either of the rides we took. The tour guide did not stop to allow us out at any of the stops, and he was very poor at describing the points of interest. He had the nerve to strongly encourage us to tip both him and the bus driver. We finally got off for one of the stops, but when we tried to get back on the bus, we were told we needed tickets. We had barcodes but we were told that those were not acceptable and we needed printed tickets. Nowhere in any of my email communications did it indicate that we needed a printed ticket. Two of the staff were quite rude when we talked to understand what we needed to do to get back on the bus. I would stay far away from this bus tour. Save your money and see the sights on your own. There is plenty of information available online about each of the points of interest. Most are walkable.

Great way to see all the site and take a break from walking. The bits of trivia and stories are super interesting. And you definitely get a chance to see all the touristy spots!

This was an excellent way to learn about the city. We took the complete tour, then went back and chose to get off where we had interest. We realized that we could walk from where we got off to other stops, then rejoin the bus to get home. Philadelphia is a lovely city, and we thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Of course, our September weather was awesome. I’m certain that played a large part in our enjoyment.
