We always try to do hop on/hop off tours in a new city. It's a great way to "get the lay of the land" and see a lot in a short time. We usually do the whole loop first then decide what what to come back and explore. Had the opportunity for 3 different tour guides on yesterday's exploration. Tessa was by far the BEST! She was animated and made it exciting, even though she certainly had said the same thing many times already that day. The other guides knew the facts, her delivery just made it more interesting. Her driver was Miriam (not sure of spelling, maybe Maryann?) and she was friendly and helpful too. (We've found that not all drivers are like that!) We never waited very long at a stop for the next bus to come along. The ticket sales guys on the street at stop #1 were friendly and helpful as were the ladies at the visitors center. And we appreciate the offering of the military and senior discounts. If you THINK you may be in the city for 2 days, buy the 2 day ticket, it's only a few dollars more and a great way to get around. The view is the best from the top, but the AC felt good downstairs in the afternoon heat. Thanks for a great experience Big Bus
