We love a good hop-on, hop-off tour! It is a great way to get around to all of the city highlights without having to do the hard work yourself. All of the guides that were on the buses we hopped onto were knowledgeable and friendly, which kept the tour part engaging.

We (me, my husband, his adult Niece visiting from the Netherlands and our 4 year old) had a fabulous time with Jay and Bernard. Jay delivered on the facts and the fun! Bernard was a great driver and they knew when to stop for a break. This was truly a great way to see the sights. My husband and I relearned the history of the city and cheered with the exuberance they’re still (rightly) feeling as recent Super Bowl Champs. When we went out to the Museum of Touch and it was near time for the last bus pick up, I called their number on their tour map and actually got a polite human being, no hold music, to quickly answer my questions about getting us from this location. Everyone we met with Big Bus was friendly and helpful. Thanks all! We took a tour 8 years ago when we were in Philly and it was no where near as fun. I hope Big Bus is being good to their people bc they deserve it.

I lived in Philadelphia when I was in college and hadn't been back in 40 years. When we recently returned to the city, I wanted to see what had changed since I lived there. That was just about everything! I decided to take the Big Bus Tour, since it was cold and rainy and I wanted to get a big overview of the city. What a wonderful tour! We had just a small group on that rainy day, but our tour guide, "Z" gave us a wonderful tour with lots of tidbits about the city along with many humorous anecdotes. You can get off at any stop and then pick up the next bus to continue your tour. The only place anyone got off was at the art museum. The driver was a little ahead of schedule, so he said he would wait for anyone to get off and have pictures taken at the Rocky statue, and then continue with the tour. I think this was only because our group was so small, but people were very happy with his accommodation. It's a wonderful way to see the city with the informative commentary.
