This was easily the worst tour I have ever been on. Our tour guide, Mike, looked like he just rolled out of bed wearing a badly stained yellow t-shirt. He only pointed out land marks after we had already passed them, and even he didn't seem convinced by anything he said - every sentence was "I think this the place where...". There was a bad connection on the microphone so it cut out every time the guide moved. He was standing on the top deck of the bus with the passengers, so he was well aware of the problem, but he just continued talking even though no one could actually hear more than a few words per sentence. We got off at one of the stops and when we got back on the bus we were unlucky enough to be stuck with the same bus and same guide from before. About 90 minutes had passed and the bus had been past the first (main hub) stop again, but they continued to operate the bus with the broken microphone. When we could actually hear him, Mike spent most of his time making really terrible jokes and talking very little about the actual city or land marks. We only had two days to see Philadelphia and regrettably wasted one of them on Big Bus Company. $64 for two of us seemed okay when we thought we were going to learn something and have a good experience, but it turned out to be totally wasted. You're much better off spending $3 on a public bus where you'll get far better service. On a better note, the lady who drove the shuttle from our hotel (I think her name was Cindy) was lovely. I felt so ripped off by this company that I actually felt the need to create a Trip Advisor account and make my first ever post just to warn other people from making the same mistake.
