We went this past weekend and it was not something I would recommend. Yes, granted there were detours the busses were taking upwards of 45 minutes to get to our location. They were overcrowded and seats are tight and uncomfortable. Some of the tour guides are hard to understand or are yelling into the microphone making it unbearable to not plug your ears. Bus drivers are nice and seem to know the routes and detours very well. We got frustrated everything was taking so long and so hot and so crowded with the busses, we gave up on Philadelphia and left.. Would recommend using uber instead.

I've never done tour bus rides in any city I visit. This time I decided to do something different. I took the tour on the first day. It was a good idea. The tour was very informative and gave me ideas for the remainder of my 4 day visit.

We were only in Philly for one day so we didn't have a lot of time to waste. After walking around in the historic downtown area, we decided to get a day pass and hop on a Big Bus Tour. Best decision of the day! Your ticket sales staff was very helpful and found a great rate. Our guide was Z and she was fabulous!! She was fun, friendly and full of interesting facts. We ended up staying on the same bus the entire route and didn't get off because she was so interesting. We recommend the Big Bus Tour, especially if you want to see a lot, but don't have much time. We learned a lot about Philly and fell in love with the city. Thank you for a great experience!
