After purchasing tickets online, the instructions said that you must redeem voucher at Independence Visitor Center. After waiting 15 minutes for Center to open. I was told you have to redeem the voucher at the bus stop. Waste of time!

Our guide was ok… it was hard to understand him at times… he spoke very fast and was either to close the the microphone because it sounded muffled . The bus driver ran several lights but maybe that’s normal there because the streets are very narrow ! The history they talked about was wonderful.

I would definitely recommend doing this first. You get an overview of the city highlights. After going around once, then do the hop on and off. You usually get a different guide who has different information. We were able to get some great pictures of some buildings we weren’t that interested in touring but yet basically saw all the hot spots in Philadelphia. The tour guides were informative and some were funny. I would recommend this tour.
