We've done many Big Bus tours at various cities, but had never done a night tour until Philadelphia. You MUST see Philly at night!! Sitting atop the Big Bus at night provides the perfect seat to some of the most beautiful architecture in our country. The views of Town Hall, Joan of Arc, the Franklin Institute, Betsy Ross's home and so many neighborhoods and sites were incredible in the evening light. I am so glad that we decided to do this tour in the twilight hours!

Hello Wendy W, Thank you for choosing Philadelphia Trolley Works & Big Bus, and for your review. I am pleased you enjoyed the Philly By Night tour, and agree that there is no better way to see the beautiful city of Philadelphia at night than from atop our Big Bus Double Decker. The views of the city at night are spectacular, and enhanced by the ever changing lights of the city.

Loved the tour and the guides. They were knowledgeable and very helpful! The bus was very convenient to use. We will definitely use this again on our next visit.

We spent three days in Philadelphia with our three granddaughters, ages 10,11, and 12, the last weekend in July 2017. The Hop-On Hop-Off was a great way to see and learn about the city. It was a highlight of the trip along with The Mint, the National Constitution Exhibit, the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. Note, tickets to Independence Hall provide half-price admission to The National Constitution Exhibit. Although a must, Reading Terminal Market was a bit overwhelming for our group.

We took the train to and from our hotel near Reading Terminal Market and the airport. It was a good option for a party of five. We ordered tickets to Independence Hall on-line prior to the trip. We were thankful not to have to stand in the ticket line. The Liberty Bell line was very long on Friday and Saturday. We decided to try early Sunday morning and experienced a very short wait. Be aware The Mint is closed on Sunday.
