The tour was very nice and seeing the land marks was awesome, but sometimes some of the tour guiders had different information, one guide said that the William Penn statue on city hall was the tallest statue on top of a building in the world, while another said it was just the tallest in the US. Another time was when one of the tour guides claimed that the painting, "The Starry Night" was in the Barnes Foundation, but when we asked about it in the museum we were told it was in New York which ended up being true. So a nice tour for anyone visiting Philly with many stops to get off of, just remember that the information they give may not be 100% accurate.

Hello darkfalcon500,
Thank you for choosing Philadelphia Trolley Works & Big Bus. I am pleased you enjoyed your overall tour experience. In the case of the William Penn Statue, both guides are correct...it is the tallest statue on top of a building in the world so that makes it the tallest statue on top of a building in the US as well. I do apologize for any inconsistency of information offered by the tour guides, and would appreciate hearing more in that regard. Our guides are experienced and knowledgeable, with narratives that are flexible, and not a rehearsed script. If you would like to provide more detail, please contact me at
