This is a hop-on hop-off tour that makes 27 stops in a roughly 1 1/2 hour circuit. Stops are served roughly every 20 minutes. The clean open upper deck busses were very nice. Between stops, the narration of the area being traversed is excellent. The tour goes anywhere you would want to go in Philly. We bought a two day pass and barely got to see 1/3 of the attractions on the tour. You could do nothing more than ride the bus and get a pretty good tour. The more time you buy, the lower the daily rate. The only problem we encountered was late in the day when people are trying to get back to the starting point. Once the bus fills, it will not take additional passengers or allow people to stand while riding. We saw a lot of very unhappy people get left. I guess they ultimately got back somehow. The last bus leaves the starting point at 5 PM. IMO, there is no better way to get around town and have access to most anything you would want to do in downtown Philly.

For safety reasons, no standing is allowed on our vehicles, but we do ensure no guest is left waiting at a stop. We have complimentary shuttles that are available to pick up from stops if the need arises.

We spent a good chunk of a day hopping on and off. While on you get a great guided tour and with the buses hitting the stops about every 20 minutes its easy to get off and explore an area for a while and not have to worrying about finding and paying for parking. I recommend this tour. Many of the guides have some valuable information beyond the tour. Be sure to ask them for recommendations for what u are looking for.

I wanted to be able to see all the sights of Philly and this bus tour really provided that to me. We had a great tour guide that really explained all the sights of the city. If you want a safe and easy way to see the city and not have to worry about driving around town, this is best option. You can get on and off at your leisure and get tons of information as you ride around the city.
