We rode the full loop one evening, then hopped on and off the next day. Dexter, Tessa and Kelly were great tour guides and we learned so much about the city! Only one time on a summer Saturday afternoon was a bus too full to pick us up (there were 6 in our group) but another bus with room came by about ten minutes later.

This bus company has a great tour that will take you around the city and drop you off at most local top tourist attractions. It is a hop on hop off tour and you can buy multiple consecutive days. During the summer they use double decker buses. Buses usually run every 20-25 minutes. They have a guide on the tour to narrate and provide information about the city.

Our double deckers run year round, and are covered in the winter months, so any time of the year, you get a great view of the city and all its sites.

Got the Philadelphia Pass which included the Big Bus Tour. Our Philly Pass included 2 days of Big Bus so we spent the first half of the morning going all the way around and then deciding on the next go around where we wanted to stop. The guides were informative and the stops were right at the heart of the city highlights. Well worth the money especially if you get the Philly Pass.
