We enjoyed the tour which makes it's way through Philly and stops at most historical and famous sites. You hop on and hop off and catch the next bus in about 15-30 minutes or when you are ready. Good guides on the bus. Cost about $35. Found out later you can ride Phlash for $5 and ride a similar route to all the sites. Only difference is no tour guide.

We did the 2 day pass in conjunction with the Philadelphia pass. We did the full tour one morning, then used the bus to hop on and off the following day. We really enjoyed the information that was given by all the guides, and we were able to hear several over our 2 days. Biggest complaint that several of the buses were not air conditioned and it was brutally hot!! Several guides told us is was sold as an open air bus, not an air conditioned bus. Please, at least, offer water to those tourists sitting in the sweltering buses.

We do appreciate your feedback and value your comments. The double deckers are open air on top, and some do have air conditioning on the lower level. I am sorry the hot weather impacted your experience. Bottled water is available from many vendors close to all the tour stops, and food and beverage are allowed on the vehicles.
