The Big Bus has a decent tour that is narrated by young and enthusiastic individuals. The tour allows drop-off and pick -up at many locations and runs throughout the day. It is difficult to find the buses as the sales office simply said they are on the opposite side of the building. We went to the opposite side of the building and still had difficulty finding the buses and they are obviously not small. Signage would be helpful and assistance entering the bus for folks that need a little help. We suggest going around twice as each interpreter has their own info to add. As far as city tours go, Philadelphia has few options especially when you can't even view the Liberty Bell. Suggestions: If you want to see Independence Hall. Go early as the tickets get sold out early.

Hello SandCadi Thank you for choosing Philadelphia Trolley Works & Big Bus. Our sales and tour staff strive to provide an exceptional experience start to finish, so I do apologize that your experience did not meet this standard. Our tours start at 5th & Markets Streets, one block from the Independence Visitor Center, which is located at 6th & Market Streets. Most of the double decker buses are accessible and have specific seating for those using wheelchairs or scooters. Our drivers and tour guides will assist those who need help boarding or disembarking the buses. The Liberty Bell is free indoor attraction, and one block from from our Stop #1. It is accessible and you can go inside to see the bell or view it from the outside observation window. Both the Liberty Bell & Independence Hall are under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service, who is responsible for ticket distribution.

I booked a 2 day pass before we arrived in Philedaphila, we used the first trip to see the city. Tour guides were good. Sitting up top gives you a great view. After the first trip, we picked where we got off and on. It was interesting to hear the difference in the tour guides. The cost for a 2 day pass for 2 adults was about 60$. Money well spent!

This tour leaves from Independence Hall, easy to find the tickets and bus is right in front. There is an eatery with fresh food on the sidewalk near by. We sat up top for a fun view of the historic tour. The tour guide sat up top with a mike , he was funny and very effective... lots of cool facts and info.. there were 27 stops around the city.. you could hop on and off and catch the bus later. LOVED the City of Brotherly LOVE
