This was a great way for our family of five to get around the city. We had never been to Philadelphia and this helped us become familiar with the area. The busses came frequently and we never had to wait more than 10 minutes. If staying in the area, I would recommend staying at a hotel close to the bus route.

We do run buses at regular intervals. Frequency of vehicles depends on the time of year, and all sales and tour staff do inform guests of departure intervals before every tour. We also offer a complimentary hotel shuttle to the start of the tour for all center city and airport area hotels.

If you want to get the perfect overview of the history and architecture of Philadelphia this is a must. The host was very knowledgeable, humorous and informative. This was a great way to spend a couple of hours learning about he history of the city.

I was near Philadelphia for work and was disappointed at the time the major attractions closed, but was happy to find that big bus tours had an evening tour starting at 8pm. If you want to get a seat on the upper deck make sure to arrive early. The tour lasted 1 1/2 hours and drove past many of the major historical sights. It was a great way to get an idea of the city and would highly recommend. The tour guide "Z" was friendly, knowledgeable and made for a great evening. Unfortunately, the art museum steps were closed for construction so we weren't able to do the iconic run up, but there was nothing the tour company could do to prevent that. The price was very reasonable for the length of the tour and then they give you a pamphlet with coupons for surrounding food/activities which was nice. This is a great way to get an overview of the city after business hours.
