I took the Big Bus Tour on a Sunday afternoon. Quick tip. The first stop is next to the MegaBus and Flix bus stop on Market St and 6th St. You don’t even have to cross the street. This stop is also near the Visitor Center. Philly is a beautiful spacious city. However, everything is spread far apart so doing a bus tour is a must. I sat in the top. It’s open air. You do get a lot of sun out there and have to watch out for tree branches. But the tour guide forewarned us and he was a very helpful tour guide. I did not see any outlets to charge my phone on this bus. Whenever I take these tours, I almost never hop off. I find that in most cities I end up waiting too long for the next bus. So I simply rode this bus for the entire loop. There were 2 buses waiting as soon as I bought my ticket at the Visitor Center. I saw more Big Buses than their competitor. A bus tour is a must in Philly if you want to see all the sites without a hassle.

Overall we had a good experience. The bus is very convenient and with frequent stops. The bus drivers are nice . Will recommend to friends.

The bus tour ended early and the guides encouraged us to shorten our experience because it was too hot. I feel ripped off from that alone. To double down, you could not hear the guides through their speaker system. Just really went down hill from what we remember just 5 years ago. Now, due to the price, it would just be easier to drive it yourself.
