Great way to see the city. A bit of confusion between the website and the confirmation when the tour starts and the time you'll be picked up at your chosen spot.

I purchased the tickets for my family to tour Philadelphia and proceeded to try to catch the bus at one of their stops. When the time arrived, the bus drove right by and didn't stop. We walked to the next stop and a bus arrived at a different time than the schedule and at a different location than on the map. By the time we ran to the location, the bus drove off. At the third stop, we never even saw the bus. We decided the "hop on, hop off" wasn't going to work, since we couldn't even "hop on" and tried to cancel and get a refund. The only way to communicate is through a live chat that keeps disconnecting. Their "Refund" button on the website doesn't work and they only have an overseas phone number to call (No 800 or U.S. number). They refused to refund our money. They said we could reschedule for the next day, but we were heading home from vacation. Next, they said we could use the tickets at any of their locations over the next 12 months, but we're not planning on going to any of those locations over the next year! I'm retired military and wanted to show my family where this great nation started. Philly is awesome to see, just don't use this company to see it!!!

The Hop On/Hop Off Bus system in Philly was a very, very poor experience for my family who was visiting from Ireland & LA. We have had fabulous tours in many cities in US & Dublin, but these busses were not properly air conditioned. Many had NO functioning air & the inside temp was unbearable. In Boston they have roofs to protect from sun, but these do not ,which makes top seating not a choice for sun sensitive people. Therefore the inside was needed by us, but it was an oven. Also, although it was advertised as busses coming every 20 minutes when I called after waiting 35 minutes, I was told that the busses do not come that often. We wasted our time & money on this tour we had looked forward to & we were greatly disappointed.
