PistachioLand Farm Tour

Overview

The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather.

McGinn's PistachioLand

PistachioLand is home to the World's Largest Pistachio, 12,000 pistachio trees, vineyard, winery, ice cream parlor and gift shop with free samples of nuts and candy.

Found Alamagorda, found Pistachioland. 1/2 hour Tour was very good, thanks Katy! She patiently answered all our pistachio- growing related questions. 12,500 pistachio grafted trees on 100 acres. It's fun! We tasted at least 12 samples of pistachio flavors. Of course a nice gift shop. Vineyard too, 16 acres, with free wine tasting, bought 3 types : cherry, peach, pistachio. Mostly sweet. Thanks to the feiendly staff: Katy, Janet, and Wesley

This was a fun stop after the White Sands! We started with a tour and our guide Katie was both knowledgeable and entertaining. It was fascinating learning about the grafting process and the meaning behind the installation of the giant pistachio sculpture. Wine tasting with Matt was educational and both couples purchased bottles of the Pistachio wine. After sampling the various options we each landed on our favorite. Mine was plain roasted & salted and my husband loved the pistachio brittle. Our luggage is several pounds heavier due to the numerous purchases
