PistachioLand Farm Tour

Overview

The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather.

McGinn's PistachioLand

PistachioLand is home to the World's Largest Pistachio, 12,000 pistachio trees, vineyard, winery, ice cream parlor and gift shop with free samples of nuts and candy.

This was a lot of fun! Great service and fun! We had our three kid ages 13,11 and 6 and they had a good time too

The farm tour was well worth the small ticket price. I learned so much! The little tram is comfortable and even though I went in the heat of the day, it’s covered so it wasn’t too hot. You drive past the vineyards and learn about how they are grown and harvested. Then you drive past the Pistachio orchards and learn all about how they were able to start growing them in New Mexico. I had never seen a pistachio tree before, it was fascinating. What they grow is all only sold in their store, so the nuts couldn’t be fresher, the guide said they also make the candy there too. The pistachio chocolate brittle is amazing and I am kicking myself for not buying more!

This place is such a fun gimmick! The largest pistachio in the world makes for a great road trip photo. It’s just a big excuse to stop and spend money. The pistachios are delicious. There are samples to prove it. I enjoyed the bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that I purchased.
