The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather.

Basically a really cute tourist stop. Free samples of different flavored pistachio nuts.
Great selection of T-shirt’s at reasonable prices. Staff was friendly. We didn’t take the tour because it was raining.

We enjoyed the Pistachio Land tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and we met the owner who gave us more information about the farm during the tour. Aftwerwards we visited the delightful gift shop and did some wine tasting. We left with assorted pistachio treats, wine, and pictures of the giant pistachio! It was an enjoyable morning!

What a fun way to end our trip to Alamogordo. The farm tour was informative and fun. Make sure to tip your tour host. Definitely check it out and take your pictures by the big nut. We had never done a wine tasting before, and the young lady on Saturday (9/24) was so informative and friendly. We aren’t wine drinkers but they changed our minds and we brought home a couple of bottles. Make time and go.
