PistachioLand Farm Tour

Overview

The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather. Risks: Open air vehicle exposed to weather, wildlife and farm operations. Tour vehicle travels on a bumpy, gravel road. Pets are not allowed on tour due to insurance requirements. Waivers required from each guest. Must be seated on the vehicle 15 minutes prior to departure.

PistachioLand is home to the World's Largest Pistachio, 12,000 pistachio trees, vineyard, winery, ice cream parlor and gift shop with free samples of nuts and candy.

Great place to stop by. The tour was very informative, and our guide Emilio was very energetic. Loved eating the grapes right off the vine! We enjoyed ALL THE FREE SAMPLES! There are so many choices.

If you’re visiting Alamogordo, stopping at pistachio land is a must. Besides seeing the 35 foot tall pistachio, you can take a short guided tour through the pistachio trees. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. We got to meet the owner Tim. Then we went into the gift shop and we’re greeted with an amazing staff. Everyone there seemed genuinely happy that they worked there. We took our two Morkies and they were given free puppies cups that they truly enjoyed. Wonderful experience! And to tell the truth, we probably bought too many pistachios. Lol

Tara was amazing and very knowledgeable when giving the tour of the farm. She was great with my son. They make a lot of things in house and you can tell everything is so fresh and delicious. Have been there multiple times and I love it. Their Pistachio brittle is amazing!
