PistachioLand Farm Tour

Overview

The PistachioLand tour offers a ride on a 14 passenger electric vehicle through the pistachio orchards and vineyards. This is a working farm where pistachios and wine grapes are produced, and wine and candy is also produced on-site. Free samples of nuts and wine are available in the gift shop. Although you can walk-in to purchase a $2 ticket, booking guarantees a seat unless canceled for weather.

McGinn's PistachioLand

PistachioLand is home to the World's Largest Pistachio, 12,000 pistachio trees, vineyard, winery, ice cream parlor and gift shop with free samples of nuts and candy.

Katie, our guide, was very informative and fun. There were young children on the tour. Katie engaged them and was interactive. She was knowledgeable about the history of the farm, pistachios, their growth and harvesting. It was interesting and fun. Of course we picked a rainy day to go, but was still a great time. Of course I bought candy and pistachios as well as had the ice cream. All delicious.

The lady tour guide (with long braids) was very knowledgeable. She threw in amusing facts which kept the tour both interesting and informative.

We took the extended tour with Maverick. Although he's fairly new, he was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He covered what some would consider mundane, but the biology of a Pistachio tree is very interesting. No spoiler alert. Take the tour and find out! The Pistachio ice cream was wonderful.
