Premier Juneau Whale Watching Expedition

Overview
Your 3 hour whale watching adventure begins when you board a coach bus that departs downtown Juneau from the Mt. Roberts Tram parking lot. A 25 minute journey through the picturesque landscape of Southeast Alaska will take you to Auke Bay Harbor. “All aboard!” and you’re off for Alaska waters and the ultimate whale watching experience. The star of the tour is the humpback whale, but we are always looking out for sea lions, bald eagles, or the playful orca. The whales are here to feed in our abundant Alaskan waters.  Our naturalist guides you on a 2 hour whale watching tour. With our experienced captains and Juneau being one of the best ports for whale watching in Alaska, this tour will be an unforgettable experience. A light snack and refreshments will be provided.

We had a great whale watching cruise with Juneau Tours! Capt Ed, and naturalists Danielle and Jayden took us out on the Auke Bay, promising we would find Humpback whales or bust. And we did find them... Capt Ed took us out to two locations where we found mother and calf relaxing in the waters. Apparently it was dinner time on the waters and, baby was feeding. After a while, baby surfaced to greet us... What a way to spend a couple of hours!

My friends and I went on this whale watch today. We were supposed to go with another tour company, but they didn't have room for us. So, we ended up with these guys. Let me tell you, it was Divine Intervention! Captain Dan (or Don?), Jon and Russell were like sailing with family! They were knowledgeable; so very personable; funny and just generally warm and inviting. It was very clear that they were heck-bent on making sure we had a great time AND SAW SOME WHALES!! We did both! If you're going to go on a whale-watching tour, choose this one. You won't regret it!
