Your 3 hour whale watching adventure begins when you board a coach bus that departs downtown Juneau from the Mt. Roberts Tram parking lot. A 25 minute journey through the picturesque landscape of Southeast Alaska will take you to Auke Bay Harbor. “All aboard!” and you’re off for Alaska waters and the ultimate whale watching experience. The star of the tour is the humpback whale, but we are always looking out for sea lions, bald eagles, or the playful orca. The whales are here to feed in our abundant Alaskan waters. Our naturalist guides you on a 2 hour whale watching tour. With our experienced captains and Juneau being one of the best ports for whale watching in Alaska, this tour will be an unforgettable experience. A light snack and refreshments will be provided.

Tour time is a check-in time; departure is within 15 to 30 minutes.
The meeting place is under the cables in front of the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
All ports or docks are within 10 minutes walking distances, except one - the A Dock - which provides a “Downtown” shuttle to the Mt. Roberts Tramway.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
At time of booking, cruise ship passengers must provide the name of their ship.
Tour operates in all weather conditions, so please dress appropriately in layers and for the likely chance of rain. It is recommended that you wear warm layered clothing, a waterproof jacket and comfortable slip-proof shoes.

Had a good time with the Juneau crew (capt josh, kris, and whale whisperer Lukas). You’ll have to ask him to do his whale dance and whisper call to get the whales to surface. Kids and wife had a good time. We got lucky and saw some Orcas.. it was killer.. ;-)

I was a bit hesitant to book a whale watching tour for the family (kids ages 9 and 5), as my only experience was on large, slow moving boats, crammed with tourists, and only the occasional distant whale sighting over an extended period of time. However our experience aboard the nimble and fast 19 passenger boat led by Jayden and Captain Marina was an incredible experience for all!! We highly recommend this company (not contracted by cruise lines)...professional, knowledgeable and great fun! Regardless of the amount of whales you see, the boat ride alone and information provided is well worth it!

On July 22 or 23, we were invited to go on a whale watching tour with Way-FM Christian radio station and we had a delightful time. Our Captain(I think Jack) and naturalist where the best. I am sorry I don't remember their names( Oldsheimer). First we saw a hoard of sea lions then we were entertained by a baby whale waving his tail and his fins for about 15 min. We were given great info of the surrounding area and a little history. Loved Loved Loved it.
