Premier Juneau Whale Watching Expedition

Overview
Your 3 hour whale watching adventure begins when you board a coach bus that departs downtown Juneau from the Mt. Roberts Tram parking lot. A 25 minute journey through the picturesque landscape of Southeast Alaska will take you to Auke Bay Harbor. “All aboard!” and you’re off for Alaska waters and the ultimate whale watching experience. The star of the tour is the humpback whale, but we are always looking out for sea lions, bald eagles, or the playful orca. The whales are here to feed in our abundant Alaskan waters.  Our naturalist guides you on a 2 hour whale watching tour. With our experienced captains and Juneau being one of the best ports for whale watching in Alaska, this tour will be an unforgettable experience. A light snack and refreshments will be provided.

It was my 3rd whale watching excursion and was by far the best. Russell and Captain Ben where awesome. Captain Ben found lots of whales for us to watch. We saw a huge adult breach and than he found a young calf playing, breaching, slapping its fin on top the water along with it’s mother. We watch them playing for over half an hour before heading over to watch the sea lions fight for the buoy marker when blubber butt jumped straight up in the air onto the buoy. Thank Captain Ben and Russell for a wonderful day

Captain Marina & her deck hand Elin were awesome. 5-stars for them. Saw lots of whales + porpoises. They were very knowledgeable about the whales & the area. Our return bus driver was a real turd-smoker though. Couldn’t do simple math. Couldn’t decide what to do after he crammed too many people onto the bus. Decided to just let 6 or 7 people including children stand on the rainy highway trip back to town. Was completely unprofessional and unsafe.
