Premier Juneau Whale Watching Expedition

Overview
Your 3 hour whale watching adventure begins when you board a coach bus that departs downtown Juneau from the Mt. Roberts Tram parking lot. A 25 minute journey through the picturesque landscape of Southeast Alaska will take you to Auke Bay Harbor. “All aboard!” and you’re off for Alaska waters and the ultimate whale watching experience. The star of the tour is the humpback whale, but we are always looking out for sea lions, bald eagles, or the playful orca. The whales are here to feed in our abundant Alaskan waters.  Our naturalist guides you on a 2 hour whale watching tour. With our experienced captains and Juneau being one of the best ports for whale watching in Alaska, this tour will be an unforgettable experience. A light snack and refreshments will be provided.

Danielle and Captain Rusty were exceptional guides. Highly recommend Juneau Whale Watching Tours. We were able to see at least five (5) whales and one or two sea lions (swimming out in the channel).

We took the whale watching tour a week ago (early June 2019) and had a great time. We saw whales, bald eagles, and sea lions. Jon gave us a great overview not just of the whales (of which he was very knowledgeable), but of life in Juneau itself - it's topography and what it is like to live there year round and to go to school there. Captain Dan and the crew were experts at locating the whales, and teaching us how to locate them ourselves. The boat was also great. We had the catamaran. There was plenty of room to move around outside, and the interior was nice and warm and of course had a bathroom. Plus, they were very organized. I prefer to do the research necessary to book my own cruise excursions, and I'm glad I chose this one. It was a great tour.
