6 of us took the tour during World Pride Weekend (the group ages ranged from 11-71). Joe took us from one important site to another. Yes, we learned about dates and events, but so much more. Joe made sure we realized how times were then. He had such passion that you couldn't help but get involved. Being Pride weekend, the streets were packed, but we had no problem hearing or finding shady spots to stand. Joe took his time and was open to all questions. Although 4 of us are gay, we ALL learned a lot and got to see where things happened. 2 of the adults are very picky and even they had noting but good things to say. I am sure the effectiveness of the tour depends on the tour guide, hopefully they are all as good as Joe.

Our tour guide was Joe and he was very informative and interesting and seemed really passionate about his work. Only down side was that it was opening ceremony of world pride and lots of streets were blocked off, and so he had to improvise what we could visit, maybe next year let people know they will get the information but to visit stonewall..,Sheridan Park etc they will have to do that another day. Would definitely recommend.
