I attended with my girlfriend and we had a really really nice experience! Joe took his time to show us around, tell a lot of interesting stories and answer all our questions. We also got some great tips about where to go after the tour and it was just really nice. And besides that, Joe was just really kind and good company. I bought the tour as a present for my girlfriend, and to be honest I didn’t really know a lot about the pride movement before the tour. On the tour I got a deep understanding of the pride movement, and when you like me don’t know any of the background stories, it’s really mind blowing. At least it was to me. I just had no idea. Thank you for that, It really touched me. We saw many things on our visit in New York, but this was definitely one of our absolute favorites!! 5 out of 5 stars and worth every penny.

First off, props for not canceling on me when was the only one for a late night tour on a Monday night! Great info that may be in contradiction to other sources but the connections and stories make the whole thing come alive. The guides having access to first person sources makes everything feel a little closer than all the years between. For a small area, there was a great deal of information and well delivered with feeling and conversation.

I really felt that the history and perspective of the Greenwich Village gave great insight to the events of 1969. My tour guide Joe was very informative and did a great job pointing out the historical sites (including Stonewall Inn, Julius Bar, Marie Crisis, the first LGBT bookstore...) and role in the events of the 1969's and current. I can only recommend this...
