Overview

You will depart Rapid City at 8:30am and travel to Mount Rushmore. You will spend time hiking around the monument. Next, you will travel to Crazy Horse Memorial, learning the importance and history of Crazy Horse. Finally, you will get an opportunity to explore beautiful Custer State Park. You will be able to see wildlife at an incredibly close proximity, and enjoy the local flora. In each of these locations, you will gain unique and rare insight into the history of the Black Hills.

There is a two person minimum to book this tour.

Learn about the rich, and incredible history of Crazy Horse.

Custer State Park

You will get an opportunity to explore beautiful Custer State Park. See wildlife at an incredibly close proximity, and take in the local flora.

We had the best, most informative day with Carrie and Denny!! We booked it last minute and they were able to accommodate us with a private experience. I was nervous bringing a 3 year old and they couldn’t have been more amazing with the stops and the snacks!!! My 11 year old nephew said he learned more about history from Carrie and Denny then he’s learned in school! Their love and pride of their state showed right through!! We can’t wait to book our next adventure with Carrie! Thank you for making South Dakota one of our favorite stops on our road trip!!

My 8 year old boy’s favorite part of the tour was listening to Jamie’s facts and stories. Jamie was able to keep our entire family engaged and entertained while traveling between attractions. I would highly recommend Jamie as a tour guide.
