As a travel agent, it is my responsibility to ensure that my clients have the very best guide available and Sheldon is that guide! He is so knowledgeable and personable and my clients love him! He loves New York and it is apparent! Not only does he call prior to the tour to find out what he can do to make it the perfect day, he calls after the tour to find out how they liked the tour. As we only stay 3 days in NYC for the very first time, we were looking for a way to explore this beautiful city as much as possible in a short time. And did we find it!! Price for 6 hours, whether you are alone, the three of you (like us) or a group of up to 13: 1295USD. Sounds a lot? NO WAY!! IT IS BY FAR THE BEST DEAL EVER!! For us, it is honoustly the best spent 1295 dollars ever and I tell you why in a nutshell: Broadway, Times Square, the Plaza Hotel, Central Park, ‘Billionaires’ Row, Trump Tower, Chrysler Building, Empire State Building, Grand Central Terminal and its Whispering Gallery (you will be amazed!!!!), Rockefeller Center, Cartier house, the history of VanderBilt and the railroad business, Joe’s Pizza, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge, Statue of Liberty, Hudson River, upper / midtown / lower Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the most honorful, respectful, impressive and unforgettable place we’ve ever visited in the world: Ground Zero ~ World Trade Center Memorial, St. Paul’s Chapel, Wall Street, the great story about one of the nation’s Founding Fathers George Washington, and much, much more. We have intensively experienced what a great city NYC is, with a most impressive history, built and inhabited by great people! We had an amazing 6 hour tour of Brooklyn with Sheldon & his driver Gary. Though we had booked a tour of only Brooklyn, they took us there by a fantastic route along the Hudson, past many important sites. Something that we had not even thought to ask about. All the way to the Brooklyn Bridge, Sheldon entertained us with both historic and current facts about this incredible city. Once across, they made certain we had the best views of Manhattan and excellent photo ops. Though it was raining for much of the day, they did all they could to make the best of our time there. Sheldon has an encyclopedic knowledge of NY history, streets, areas, bridges, tunnels, restaurants... all offered up in an amusing and entertaining way. This was a 60th birthday trip and Sheldon even went so far as to suggest a ride on the Cyclone rollercoaster (on Coney Island). When none of our party wanted to go, he went on it with me... an exhilarating experience I am so happy I didn't miss! They picked us up on time, in a clean Mercedes hopper, easy into and out of. Last minute, we wanted to go to a few out of the way places and they readily accommodated us on this. They were flexible, easy to communicate with, and totally professional.That being said, we laughed most of the day, enjoying the repartee between Sheldon and Gary and ourselves. We chose Best New York Tours.com. based on their reviews and their reviews were based on fact. I am oftentimes in NYC on business, but really wanted to get a taste of areas I cannot often get to. I will use them again, next time I have a leisure trip to NYC!
