We would recommend this private tour to anyone visiting NYC. Here's the deal: Sheldon is extremely passionate about his city, his knowledge is off the charts, and he customizes the tour to whatever you want. We were able to see every one of our requests, and so many more that he added to make the trip so memorable. We were never rushed and he helped us take hundreds of pictures throughout the day. The tour was exceptional and in the comfort of a very large luxurious Mercedes SUV that could have easily fit 10 people!!! The best part of the tour, however, was Sheldon himself. He was so kind, so funny, so knowledgeable, and it felt like we knew him forever. He included our teenage daughters in the action and he even taught them how to purchase a subway ticket. Sheldon is an amazing man who taught us so much about the city. We went from downtown to uptown, Central Park to Battery Park and everything in between. He makes you feel "like a local" for a day. His communication before the trip is also equally exceptional. Sheldon is an incredible guy who gave us one of our best experiences to date of any trip we have ever taken. We miss him already!!! I would recommend anyone that’s looking for a great private tour. This is the way to go. Trust me it’s worth the money. This is not one of those riding on top of some bus looking at unknown buildings. This is by a very professional knowledgeable professional Guy. Looking forward to next year! 10 out of 10 stars ⭐️

Pros: Tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared interesting details we would have never known otherwise. Cons: -Driver drove fast so was hard to really take in/see many of the sites. -Driver drove a bit recklessly and kept getting whiplash -Tour guide and Driver argued a lot which made it very uncomfortable for us. At one point the tour guide asked the driver to slow down, then the driver slammed on the breaks. -Tour guide wanted to sit with us so I had to sit in the middle and could see pretty much nothing. We wished we just took one of the cheap open bus tours so that we weren't in the middle of an awkward argument and could see the sites better.
