It was a pleasure to have a tour today with my husband, his secretary and his dear friend of many years, a former Premier of Bermuda. It truly was The best New York tour I could’ve possibly have arranged with an SUV upgraded to a huge Mercedes minivan with panoramic views and a skilled driver and an extraordinarily knowledgeable and entertaining native New Yorker guide Chris who was superb in every way. His historical knowledge was impressive and he was able to engage in a fascinating dialogue with our distinguished guest about the details of George Washington‘s connections with the city during the Revolutionary war and after. Uptown downtown and all around the town we went— and because we only stopped once we were able to compress so much geography and history into a four hour tour. If you want top quality this is the company you want. And the manager Sheldon was a delight to work on planning the parameters of the tour with and feedback after. Thanks so much to this wonderful company and especially to our guide Chris for a very memorable day.

The US women’ Soccer celebration threw a big monkey wrench in our planned tour,but even with huge traffic problems, our guide “Bernice” did a great job of improvising. We ended up seeing just about everything in spite of the crowds.Great folks. Knowledgeable,innovative and entertaining.

This is the third tour we have had with Sheldon!! We started three years ago and have come to New York three years in a row! Sheldon has become part of our family. This years private tour for my father, my aunt and my sisters (5 of us) was an adventure around the history of Staten Island. Sheldon researches amazing places that will teach us a part of history that we would have never experienced without his expertise. We visited the Conference Home where Franklin, Adams and Rutledge met with the British early in the Revolutionary War to discuss whether an end to the war could be negotiated. We stood exactly where they stood!!!! Amazing!!!! We then went to historic Richmond town representing Staten Island history across three centuries. Sheldon always adds in awesome places to eat throughout the day. Stopped at Snug Harbor, former home for seamen. Last stop was Battery Weed at Fort Wadsworth. Beautiful all around!!! If you are looking for first class service, an intelligent and fun tour guide, first class transportation and drivers and a day you will not forget, book with Sheldon and you will not go wrong!!!! We love you Sheldon!!! Here’s looking forward to next years adventure!!
