I booked and paid for a private transfer service from my mom's home to LaGuardia airport for Monday, September 19, 2022. I was vacationing in South Carolina, and my 86-year old mom was traveling to join me in South Carolina. Carmel was supposed to pick her up at her apartment at 7:00am. I received numerous e-mail confirmations regarding the reservation, and at 6:00am on Monday, September 19, my mom called Carmel to again confirm the reservation. At 7:10am, Carmel called my mom to let her know that they did not have a car for her! We then had to scurry to find another car service for my mom--which was extremely difficult because it was the morning rush hour and most of the car services were booked. It was an extremely anxious situation for my mom, who does not often travel alone, and I had to manage the situation from South Carolina. Shame on Carmel for your total lack of professionalism--I will never use your service again.
