We booked our fishing excursion at the last minute from our cruise. Arrangement and payment were easy, and the fishing trip itself was fabulous. Very nice, clean boat, and Captain Mike was friendly, skilled, and helpful with fishermen of all ages and skills. Every member of our party caught at least one halibut, and Mike helped arrange the shipment of our keepers back home. Sincere thanks for a great day on the water!

I fished with Mike late June and sadly they had not had enough rain for the King salmon to be there in any numbers so Mike suggested we fish for Halibut. My disappointment was soon forgotten when a large pod of Orca came into view, then Dolphins and seals, we caught our limit of Halibut and had a great day. His boat is nearly new well equipped and very fast, if like me you are left handed suggest you warn Mike so he can ensure he has a left hand reel on board as I struggled with the Halibut using my right hand

If you are planning on fishing later in the cruise, don't. This is the salmon capital of the world, and farther north you get, the worse the fishing because of all the silt in the water. Captain Ray was very nice and we landed 3 king salmon, nice Chums, Pink, Silver, and some rock fish. The company deals with processing the fish and sends it directly to your door. A lot of fun.
