A minimum of 2 people is required for tour to run.
This tour requires a certain amount of walking on uneven and rocky surfaces.

We did the photography tour as an excursion from our cruise ship. Pat was great! Very knowledgeable and interesting. I think my husband and I were the only ones with just Iphones but he still gave us some good tips for taking pictures. Only problem was the lack of wildlife but that's certainly not Pat's fault. The views and history he provided made it an enjoyable excursion.

Thanks for this great review. Our photography instructors can teach photography to those who have advanced DSLR cameras as well as those with iPhones. The modern iPHone is a sophisticated camera with the ability to capture amazing images. As a great violin instructor once said, "it's not the violin, it's the violinist!" And the karate master once told me "if you put a black belt on a monkey, its still a monkey!"

Our guided photography excursion is as breathtaking! The scenery was amazing! Pat was an excellent tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and showed us some tips and tricks on how to use our iPhone to take the perfect shot!

We watched two bear cubs foraging for food for quite a while, which was pretty amazing! I also loved the stop at Dog Beach and hearing about the history of the glaciers and fjords. Garrett was quite knowledgeable not only about cameras and settings but very familiar with the area and history so he really made it interesting. Haven't had a chance to download all the pics yet but look forward to reliving the experience when I do!

Thanks for this great review of your tour with Garrett. He is not only an excellent photography instructor, he is also very knowledgeable about the natural history of the area. With wildlife photography, the more you know about the habits of the wildlife you are photographing, the better chance you have of predicting their behavior and capturing that perfect moment.
