There were a lot of companies offering helicopter flights around NYC but a few had hidden charges such as an extra $35 each heliport fees, so I chose HELINY as it was all inclusive and took off from downtown Manhattan - some were on New Jersey’s and were a lot cheaper but the taxi fare would ramp up the price. We didn’t have to wait long to get on our helicopter ride, the staff were great and very helpful, the pilot pointed out all of the different landmarks and where everything was which was brilliant, we saw all the typical landmarks flying over Staten Island then up the Hudson right to the top of Central Park then back down again. Would definitely recommend HELINY as they seemed well organised when we visited and explained everything that would happen. We also got the 2 front seats as it was for my fiancé’s birthday, so that was even more amazing but you’d still have good views from the 4 rear seats. The flight was only about 15-20 mins but to be honest you see everything you want to see in that time so it is definitely long enough. Well worth it if you have the money to spare

Staff were amazing and very friendly. I booked direct to avoid any issues with third parties and the communication beforehand was regular and professional. The tour itself was amazing. I have been to NYC many times, but never done this and whilst it is expensive it was worth every penny.
