I had booked 12 people on the ferry and we traveled from Gloucester to Boston allowing 2 hours travel time. This should have been plenty of time but only 1 of 3 cars made it through the horrendous traffic and got to the boat on time. Non-refundable tickets! I am out a fortune.

The ferry to Provincetown is a super way to leave Boston and get to the Cape. My daughter takes this ferry and I love meeting her. I have had several occasions to work with the ground crew in Provincetown. They are excellent and the customer service if flawless. Ground organization equally awesome. I assisted my daughter in changing her tickets. Due to a communication mix up, her trip was cancelled. Fortunately she was able to re book and they offered a credit of 11.00. When we wrote to the customer service, the reply was not satisfactory and revealed lack of interest in really listening to the concern. Don't get anything wrong an the experience is great. Relying on the chat customer service had a lot to be desired for our experience. I was the communicator to the company each time and my daughter rode the ferry.

Great experience! Only thing I would say is make sure you buy 2 tickets if you're doing a round trip. Some people thought the one ticket got them round trip. So buy ticket from Boston to Provincetown them Provincetown back to Boston. Staff was very friendly, enough drinks and food on board for the 90 minute ride. Highly recommend versus driving.
