RAFT ADVENTURE - Na Pali 1/2 Day Snorkel

Overview

On a 5.5-hour tour we will take you to experience towering sea cliffs & pristine beaches of the Na Pali coast. Our Captain and Crew will share history, legends and knowledge of local marine life. Encounter playful dolphins, green sea turtles & much more. Migrating humpback whales (Dec-March). Conditions permitting, we will get you into sea caves, under the waterfalls and snorkel one of the best reefs on Kauai. Choose a morning or afternoon departure; both include lunch, beverages & snorkel gear. Activity description

Rafting excursions can be physically demanding, bouncy, bumpy & lot's of fun. Participants should be in above average physical shape. You need to be able to climb a sturdy vertical ladder to get back on the raft after snorkeling. This tour is very adventurous, Wet, Wild & Wow! Be prepared for an exhilarating day! All water sports and or Na Pali are conditions permitting.

First of all, our tour guides were Chris and Leo. They were awesome. Chris did an awesome job navigating the rough seas we experienced. Not to say it wasn't SO much fun. The waves added to the experience. We were warned about the rough seas but trusted in our guides. On our way out to the beautiful Na Poli Coast, we saw spotted eagle rays, spinner dolphins, goats and sea turtles!! The guide was considerate enough to ensure everyone on both sides of the boat were able to see the animals when we passed them. Everything was so well explained, history of the island and the descriptions of the animals. Highly recommend this tour! The lunch/dinner served was just enough to hold us over for our journey back to the island. Sandwich, condiments were provided, assorted fruit and beverages, and cookies.

This rafting tour was the highlight of my stay in Kauai. The boat ride was super fun, really bumpy with lots of waves...be prepared to get wet ;) the Napali Coast is absolutely stunning! We had the afternoon light, which is better for pictures, and it was just gorgeous. The snorkeling spot we went to was quite nice! Lots of beautiful fishes, and my friends saw a turtle. The crew was absolutely amazing, super fun and friendly, and gave us lots of information on the Kauai history and legends for each place we were visiting: thank you Captain Shaun and Kori for making this trip so memorable! We saw many sea caves with blue water and lots of waterfalls... everything was perfect including the very end of the trip, when we saw and followed a dolphin pod during sunset! Would really recommend this company and this crew :)

The raft (zodiac) adventure was fantastic! I get sea sick on the larger boats with the constant, slow swaying motion but not on the faster zodiac. Sitting at the surface of the water, you'll have close-up views of the large pod of spinner dolphins and sea turtles common to the area. While all types of boats enjoy the incredible coastline views, only the zodiacs will take you into the caves and onto the shore. Cpt Jake's ride through the open ceiling cave is something to experience! I loved the variety on this trip with the fast boat, the caves, the snorkeling, and the shore excursion. Jake and Nohili (aka "Nono") were brilliant! They both had great stories, great historical knowledge, and some perfectly timed bad jokes. But nothing beats Nohili's ukulele serenade while slowly cruising among the spinner dolphins or crashing through the large ocean swells! :-)
