RAFT ADVENTURE - Na Pali 1/2 Day Snorkel

Overview

On a 5.5-hour tour we will take you to experience towering sea cliffs & pristine beaches of the Na Pali coast. Our Captain and Crew will share history, legends and knowledge of local marine life. Encounter playful dolphins, green sea turtles & much more. Migrating humpback whales (Dec-March). Conditions permitting, we will get you into sea caves, under the waterfalls and snorkel one of the best reefs on Kauai. Choose a morning or afternoon departure; both include lunch, beverages & snorkel gear. Activity description

Rafting excursions can be physically demanding, bouncy, bumpy & lot's of fun. Participants should be in above average physical shape. You need to be able to climb a sturdy vertical ladder to get back on the raft after snorkeling. This tour is very adventurous, Wet, Wild & Wow! Be prepared for an exhilarating day! All water sports and or Na Pali are conditions permitting.

We booked the rafting and snorkeling adventure. I was a little nervous about motion sickness, but we followed the recommendation to take Dramamine, and that worked. We left in the morning, which worked out well. We saw a large pod of dolphins doing tandem swimming, and then later in the afternoon, that same pod was 'spinning and playing'. Our captain was Skye and second mate, Gregg. Both set a great tone for the trip and were very responsive. I could have used more time snorkeling and less time at the beach landing. During our snorkeling we saw a large sea turtle. The lunch is basically cold cuts. There was plenty of water, but if you get hungry often or don't like meat sandwiches, I'd recommend packing a granola bar. The raft is NOT a smooth ride, but the bumps and splashes made it a real adventure for everyone. Highly recommend you do this trip.

We went yesterday, on the afternoon snorkel and rafting adventure with Colin and Sky. It was even better than we were hoping for and such an amazing experience!!!! Colin was great at telling the history and stories and making everyone feel comfortable. Sky was the best Captain I’ve ever seen. Even though he’s fairly new with the company, you can tell that he’s been doing it forever and is a master at the helm! Maneuvering around the sea caves was unbelievable!!!! My wife and I were nervous about the raft before we got on, but that is our new method of choice! We’ll definitely do it again next time and do the morning one so we can catch some dolphins! Thanks again Colin and Sky (he spirit spinner dolphins)!!!!

We have done a number of excursions over the years in various places including Hawaii, and this one ranks at the top. You get a little bit of everything...a fun boat ride, a lot of wildlife, snorkeling, riding into caves, history of native Hawaiians, and an unbeatable view of the Napali coast. Sky and Colin were great with our large group of 10 (ages 10 thru 50) making sure everyone had a great time. Highly recommend this trip.
