Pedaling along our historic tracks, bathed in dappled sunlight and a light breeze, you’ll experience a new freedom on the rails, unlike anything else. Without the need to steer, you’re unbound, able to look around at the wonder of this untouched stretch of the natural world, spotting blue herons, osprey, an occasional lounging turtle, perhaps a playful river otter, a deer munching on the foliage, and during peak berry season maybe even a bear.

Wonderful ride on the Rail Bikes. Nice to have a break in the middle for a .9 mile walk up to a scenic view of the redwoods. Wish the Rail Bike ride was a bit longer. Learned lots of history and information from the Tour guides. Expensive for a Family as the rail bike is $250 per bike that seats 2. Total trip time an hour and a half.

My partner and I were very disappointed to say the least. Definitely not with the staff or the facility both which were great. The length of the actual trip on the rail was too short ( less than 45 minutes) a normal human could of walked the path and had as good of experience. The scenery was not what we expected and then the hike seemed just a way to kill time. Looking at the advertising I guess we were expecting a lot more for the $220 I know you have other trips which are longer but I feel like your advertising was slightly exaggerated and I consider it misleading. As one reviewer put it “total cash grab and a waste of my time”. You’re better off taking a short hike in any of the redwood forests nearby.

25mi railbike tour with Ashton & Bruce as guides. Great experience. Ended up just being us and no other participants so like a private tour. Our guides were professional and took care of us and made sure we had a pleasant experience from start to finish. Informative, beautiful and a great workout and way to spend the day!
