Come on a guided adventure with lots of good times and breath taking scenery. Edisto Island is one of the last few untamed places of South Carolina. Not many people are familiar with it's vast unexplored rivers and tributaries and the overabundance of strong fisheries. Few people realize the rich history of this quite little island as well. These two things combined are what makes Captain Justin Ravenel tick. He grew up spending every second of his free time getting to know the secrets of the island and he like's nothing more than to share them with you. The only thing Justin enjoys more than putting you on fish is spending time with his twin baby girls and his AMAZING wife!

Fabulous trip! Justin was fun and a wealth of information. A great guy, made us comfortable right away, letting us know what to expect. We learned a lot about the area wildlife and island history. Our group caught a few fish and learned some new fishing techniques. He played great music and the conversation was fun. The only problem was that our time went too fast!

This was our first visit to Edisto and we wanted to see all of the area. I contacted Justin at Ravenel Fishing Charters and told him we had four people for a charter. He explained what we could expect an worked with us on the timing since it had been cold for a few days. Once on board we set off for an exciting day exploring the low country. Part fishing, part eco tour, part site seeing it exceeded our expectations. Justin made the trip fun, informative and patient with novice fisher persons. My wife and I as well as my friend and his wife experienced a day we will remember for a long time. Catching fish, learning about the wild life and the area, amazing views and some great pictures. We look forward to another trip in the future as Justin has a number of different charters that he can customize depending on the conditions at the time. My wife communicated with Justin that she felt safe and that he made her feel comfortable even though she does not normally go boating. If you are up for an exciting adventure you cant go wrong with booking a trip with Ravenel Fishing Charters.

I have been on many Dolphin tours from Hawaii to Savannah. This by far was the best tour I have ever been on. Justin is a terrific guide, very knowledgeable, a conservationist and overall great guy. We had a blast and saw so many dolphins. He knows the spots where they are located and has interesting information about Edisto. He also does fishing tours so if I come back I will definitely try. You can’t go wrong with Ravenel Fishing Charters.
