Overview

Come on a guided adventure with lots of good times and breath taking scenery. Edisto Island is one of the last few untamed places of South Carolina. Not many people are familiar with it's vast unexplored rivers and tributaries and the overabundance of strong fisheries. Few people realize the rich history of this quite little island as well. These two things combined are what makes Captain Justin Ravenel tick. He grew up spending every second of his free time getting to know the secrets of the island and he like's nothing more than to share them with you. The only thing Justin enjoys more than putting you on fish is spending time with his twin baby girls and his AMAZING wife!

This is our 4th trip with Ravenel Fishing Charters. We always have the best time. Captain Justin is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He grew up around these waters and is a wealth of information. He is so patient and kind to the kids. This time he had even created a fun " pirate treasure hunt". The kids "found" a map floating in the water that led them to a buried treasure chest. Inside were treasures that they have proudly displayed at home. The boys also took a fishing trip with him. The smiles on their face when I picked them up said it all! We can't wait to go back!

Just awesome. Not only is he responsive and easy to coordinate with, Justin will put you right on the fish and make it look easy. We went on a redfish spree and caught 6 big ones in an hour. It was ridiculously fun. Thanks!

Captain Justin was awesome! He worked with our schedule last minute. He was great with our kids. He put us right on the fish and we had trouble keeping up with all the fish we were catching. Once the bites slowed he took us to find dolphins and told us more about Edisto! We had a wonderful trip! Can’t wait to book another!
