My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the city walk with Debbie. It was a lovely day, which added to the experience of frequently stopping to observe historical locations of interest. We also sampled food from various ethnic establishments, as well as from the Lancaster Central Market. We often take walks with guides when we vacation in new areas, and Debbie didn't disappoint us. She used a microphone, which made it easy to hear her while she was walking. She had a vast knowledge of the area. We would recommend this experience.

It was obvious to us that Debbie loves the city of Lancaster, adding a little bit of her New York flare to the tour! Her enthusiasm was contagious as we came to appreciate the interesting history of Lancaster and it's cast of founding characters. Because we brought along a 13 and 12 year old, she intentionally engaged them in every aspect of the tour. They will always remember the story behind the word "eavesdropping" and the difference between cemetery and graveyard. We counted 11 different food and drink items we sampled as we walked approximately 2 miles. Debbie keeps the tour moving at a steady pace as there is much history and food sampling to get in within the 3 hours. Dawdling doesn't happen on this tour. Thank you, Debbie, for an excellent tour, the opportunity to try a varied selection of foods, and generously sharing the city of Lancaster with some MIchiganders.
