The tour guide was knowledgeable and very entertaining. He certainly gave the impression of a great passion for the Ranger Creek business. The beer was excellent.

My husband and I stopped at Ranger Creek on our way back into SA from the Natural Bridge Caverns. We took their weekly brewstillery tour. We'd reserved spaces online before hand and I'm glad we did because it was super crowded. I don't think that they turned anyone away, but I was glad to know we definitely had spots. The tour itself was thorough. A lot of history on beer and whiskey and the processes to make each. The guide was very entertaining and they made sure everyone had a beer to drink before the presentation began (which I totally appreciated). The beers were great, especially the strawberry milk stout, and the whiskey was drinkable... Please note that I usually can't even get past the smell of brown liquors, so I'm not the best judge. Even though this is a bit out of the way, it's a great deal at $10 and definitely worth the drive.

My husband and I brought his aunt on the tour for her birthday. She said it was the best birthday she'd ever had, and ended up buying a couple of bottles of whiskey. I'm not a big whiskey drinker, myself, but even I'm impressed by the quality of the Ranger Creek brand. There's a good range of beers on tap, too, so you're bound to find at least a couple that you like, even if you're "not really into beer". Yes, it's that good. I highly recommend this tour, as well as their quarterly "open house" event.
