Using the 3-day Hop-On Hop-Off Tour we were able to have an overview of the important sights to see in San Antonio. Then we used the bus to take us to the Alamo, the Pearl Brewery, the Tower of the Americas, and Guenther House to name a few places. It was so convenient and informative. The bus drivers/guides were most informative and most were very entertaining. Our package also included tickets for the River Walk Cruise and admission to the 754 ft high Tower of the Americas Space Needle. The tour package was certainly the best thing we could have done as first time visitors to San Antonio!

We did the 48 hr hop on hop off tour with boat cruise and tower of the Americas - The bus drivers - Robert and TC were both awesome!! Gave lots of fun facts throughout the bus tours. Buses arrived on time or earlier at the stops. The second day we actually just rode the bus throughout the hour without getting out since we had done all we needed to on the bus drop offs in one day. The river boat cruise is fun. We were there with the Christmas lights still on so went at dusk - Beautiful night! Weeknights won't be as crowded - Friday and Saturdays down on the River walk were filled with people and more congested. During the week was more peaceful. The Tower of Americas was also fun to do However, the bar area was so crowded we couldn't find a place to sit at all so we left. It was a Friday night, which was probably not a good choice of time to go! The 4-D movie theater can be skipped unless you really like feeling like someone is kicking the back of your chair about 50 times during the show!
