We took the Hop-on, Hop-off tour bus. It was easy and most welcomed after walking around for 2 days! One of the drivers, Robert B., was fantastic! He was kind and caring, remembered our names each time we got on his bus. He was a great storyteller and lots of fun to interact with. If I make it back to San Antonio, I will look for Robert B.! Thanks you Robert B. for making a great impression. God Bless you!

This was a great idea when staying a week in San Antonio to wind down a Thailand vacation. Purchased a multi day ticket which gave me time to see a lot over the days at a slow and easy pace. ALL of the guides were great, knowledgeable, friendly, courteous and informative offering tips on best places to dine and things to check out while touring the city which you wont get from a City Bus driver and you cant really sight see while driving either as you deal with traffic in strange city or trying to find parking. My ticket came with entry to Towers of America and a River Boat Cruise which is something else a city bus driver wont give you. I never waited more than 30 minutes for a bus during 3 days which picked up across street from my La Quinta Market Square hotel. Be sure to get the Ripley's Believe it or Not package also if you have time [not affiliated with this business]. These double decker buses ALSO HAVE AIR CONDITIONING in lower section with large windows which are kept clean for better photo images since guide will slow down or stop long enough for photos if you don't want to get off which is something else a City Bus Driver is NOT going to do. Even if you only have 1 day this would definitely be best route. The continuous buses also worked good for transportation after I was done touring as they go into downtown area, Alamo and Ripley's entertainment area which is across the street from ticket office where tour starts at. If you book it online you can show your receipt on device to guide and get on for a ride to the office at the start point. They will print it out for you and take care of the rest.
