Overview

Whale watching season is all year long in San Diego! Our team at Next Level Sailing provides the optimal experience with guides so experienced we received a 100 percent success rate during winter whale watching when spotting the King of the Deep.

We are one of the best outdoor activities to do in San Diego. Gray whale watching season spans from mid-December through April. Blue whales and fin whales are seen feeding in San Diego from April - August. Humpback whales and minke whales are seen throughout the year, particularly in the spring, summer, and fall. Aboard our 141-foot sailing yacht, the Yacht America, you will see a plethora of whales firsthand in their natural habitat. In addition to whales, we also see dolphins and sea lions, and an abundance of naval activity. Don't be surprised if you see an F-18 fly overhead!

We had a great time with Next Level Sailing crew in San Diego! The day was beautiful and we saw hundreds of dolphins, it was magical!

Captain Troy this is the group you didn’t allow to smoke. I deleted my bad review cause it was too much. The boat was beautiful and the crew was great. I understand we couldn’t move around cause of covid 19 but there are 3 things you should add to your trip. 1- A nice meal with some wine at that round table by the wheel would be good,(also allow guest to sit there cause your sits are not very comfortable to be honest) 2- MUSIC, its a 4 hr trip, add some tunes there man 3-Smoking, you should please your smoking and nonsmoking customers so find a way that smokers can smoke without disturbing the nonsmokers or at least allow vape. If you do that i think your boat would be the best choice out there. This is coming from a greek citizen who has been on countless boat rides.

This is the third review from the same reservation. Apparently, the Trip Advisor platform allows for multiple reviews from the same reservation. As I responded before, we have the greatest customers. It is the best part of our business and motivates all of us at Next Level Sailing to provide the best experience for our customers everyday. But in this case, clearly smoking was very important for this customer. He started to smoke before we even left the dock and was not happy when I told him he could not smoke. It is unfortunate that he then went into the restroom and smoked during the trip. This is the only time this has happened in our nearly 20 year history. We felt it was very disrespectful to our other guests and it took us two days of cleaning to remove the odor. As for his other comments, we do a great job with private events that match the food, beverage and music requests of our clients. He may have benefited from that service.
