Overview

Whale watching season is all year long in San Diego! Our team at Next Level Sailing provides the optimal experience with guides so experienced we received a 100 percent success rate during winter whale watching when spotting the King of the Deep.

We are one of the best outdoor activities to do in San Diego. Gray whale watching season spans from mid-December through April. Blue whales and fin whales are seen feeding in San Diego from April - August. Humpback whales and minke whales are seen throughout the year, particularly in the spring, summer, and fall. Aboard our 141-foot sailing yacht, the Yacht America, you will see a plethora of whales firsthand in their natural habitat. In addition to whales, we also see dolphins and sea lions, and an abundance of naval activity. Don't be surprised if you see an F-18 fly overhead!

We saw nothing on the trip except water and helicopters..no refund offered just a free trip next time..were on vacation and dont plan on coming back out here..so a free trip does nothing..and to charge 42.00 for a one year old is a little much. They also waited days to post anything on our disaster boat ride I noticed too:/ probably not by mistske!

Our whale watching guarantee states that if you don't see a whale, you get to come back for free. There is no expiration date. If a trip is sold out, every single person must have a ticket. If a trip is not sold out, we can refund tickets for infants. I wish this customer would have communicated their disappointment during the trip so we could have resolved the issue immediately. Fantastic time, the captain and crew made every effort to find whales and they succeeded magnificently. We saw several whales and they were able to maneuver along side a pair of humpbacks which allowed up-close viewing for several minutes! The crew put the boat on a couple of large pods of dolphin, at one point they were all around the boat, amazing! The America is the most unique whale watching excursion available with a crew that is second to none, they were very knowledgeable and were on top of every need of the passengers. 100% recommend the America for your whale watching adventure, you will not be disappointed!

Very cool experience! It took us a while to find Wales once we did it was worth the wait! So lots of dolphins very cool experience!
