San Diego Whale Watching Tour

Overview

Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!
Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

It was a beautiful day and we saw tons of dolphins, who were jumping out of the water and swimming under the boat so it was cool. We didn’t see ant whales but we still had a good time.

We went through schools of porpoises that were performing for us and swam along boatsides. It was so much fun for the kids and the rest of us just seeing the kids be so exited. Thanks for a wonderful and safe trip.

Crew was fabulous! They double booked the captain’s bridge, but made it right. Never saw a whale (dolphins don’t count in my opinion), but not for lack of the crew trying. Overall, great day!
