The engine is so noisy that you cannot hear anything the captain is saying. You may get a distance glimpse of the whales, if youā€™re lucky. Donā€™t get too excited though. There was a lady working on the boat that was extremely rude and short with the customers. I wouldnā€™t recommend this company.

The experience was nice. We didn't see whales. We saw 4 types of birds, sea lions and tuna, but that's just nature. The tour guide was informative and a good teacher. AND, they gave us a voucher to return since we didn't see the whales. We were on vacation and won't get to use it, but it was a beautiful gesture.

We were unable to take the tour because we were unable to open the attachment giving us the correct address. I sent an email two days prior to the tour asking about it but never got a response. We went to the address on the brochure from our hotel, asking several people if they knew when the kiosk (which has a sign saying ā€œwhale watchingā€) would open. Finally we were able to open the attachment while at the pier and got the correct address. We immediately called Uber but it was too late to get there. I communicated with the ā€œcustomer serviceā€ person several times and explained what happened but they did not give us a refund. We spent $60 riding in Uber to get to the wrong place. If someone had answered my email we would have been able to go. Not happy with Viatorā€™s customer service!
