San Diego Whale Watching Tour

Overview

Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!
Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

It’s a wonderful experience with my family and the crew is amazing. I like seen the dolphins 🐬 my kids loved it too

The crew was wonderful. Took extra time to search for whales which on the radio shared by all boats confirmed they didn’t see either. We watched a group of 400 long beaked common dolphins feeding and racing and jumping some with a bait swimming along side. We then saw a different group of short beaked common dolphins and then a small pack of bottle nosed dolphins. All good great information from the nature guide. Would highly recommend. A litle confusing determining who the vendor was and get reviews but turned out great. we were going

We saw 4-5 time whales and lots of dolphin and everyone get chance to see it. It’s 3 hr ride and restroom on boat was clean.
